Newark public schools have been shut after a series of deadly shootings

A number of New Jersey schools have had to be shut down because of a spate of shootings.

New York’s New York City Public Schools, Newark’s Public Schools of New York and Bronx Public Schools are among those that were closed.

The Newark Public Schools district has closed all but six of its 17 campuses, and it is also shutting down the schools of four more schools in the district, according to

As of Friday morning, there are 11 schools closed in the city of Newark, including six in Newark Public schools and six in the New York public schools.

Newark Mayor Ras Baraka said in a statement that the city will reopen the schools “when all schools are safe and secure.”

The closures are part of a state-wide lockdown following the New Jersey shootings, which saw at least 13 people dead.

The Newark and New York schools have also shut down some day care centers, according the Associated Press.

A source told ABC News that the closures are “not related to the shooting at a New York day care center last night, but rather the response to recent events in New Jersey.”

Newark Public Schools said in its statement that its “zero tolerance” policy for bullying and violence has been in place since 2014.

The district also shuttered all of its public buildings and schools on Tuesday, including the city’s police headquarters, and closed the schools for the day, the statement said.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Students at Newark Public Schools are getting backpacks for the school year

Newark Public School students are getting their first backpacks in the school district’s classrooms, along with new school-wide bags for drivers and teachers.

Newark Public Schools announced the new school backpack designs Tuesday in a video posted to the Newark Public Affairs Office’s Instagram account.

The district has been testing the new bags, which will go on sale in January.

The school district is one of a handful of public schools that have already been tested, and students have already received some of the new designs.

Students at a Newark elementary school have received their first backpack for the year.

Teachers have received some new bags and new school uniforms for teachers.

School district spokeswoman Lauren Davis said the new backpacks will go to students in grades 4-8.

“The goal is to give kids something that’s really special and something they really need,” Davis said.

School District staff are working with district representatives to design and develop a bag for each student, including a keychain holder.

Davis said the district also plans to roll out the new design at several schools in the Newark public schools.

Last week, the school system announced that it was testing out a new program to test students for certain behaviors and learn from mistakes.

In addition, the Newark Education Department is developing a new resource to help schools improve their behavior and discipline.

Which school in Newark has the highest graduation rate?

New Jersey public schools are the top state graduation rate for all age groups.

However, it is unclear how many students are graduating from the state’s most high-achieving schools.

The New Jersey Department of Education and Research, which administers the state-funded New Jersey Promise, released the results of the state graduation test on Tuesday, with graduation rates from each district listed in alphabetical order.

The department said that the results show that all students graduate from high schools in the state, including those in the Newark Public School District (NPSD), which was named one of the best in the country in the 2014-2015 school year.NPSDs graduation rate is one of just three districts to have a high graduation rate.

The others are the Jersey City Public School district and Newark’s Central School District.

The graduation rate of students in Newark Public Schools is one third higher than that of the other four districts.

Newark Public schools have a total of 1,400 students.

The Newark Central School district, which has more than 1,100 students, has a total graduation rate that is two and a half times higher than Newark’s NPSD.

Principal Edgardo Guillen said the state report was “a good start”, but added that it will take more data to find out if students are better off in their communities.

“We are just scratching the surface,” Guillon said.

“If you look at graduation rates in the past, you can see that there is a very strong correlation between the graduation rate and a child’s achievement.”

The more you learn about these schools, the more we can better understand why those rates are so high.

“The results of New Jersey’s graduation test were released at a time when a national debate is being waged about how schools can best improve students’ outcomes.

The education secretary and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie have pushed for the government to provide more funding for school districts.

Christie, who recently launched a $10bn plan to help state schools, has promised that every child in the US will have a quality education, but there is an ongoing debate about whether the federal government can provide the same level of support to school districts across the country.
